Sitges is one of the most popular gay bars in town, and for good reason: It's big, it's fun, there's dancing, drag shows, lots of mingling... and, well, men, of course. Lots of them. You should swing by just after midnight when the drag shows begin and use it as either a starting point or as the place where you'll camp out the rest of the night. Although there is no set closing time, you can expect to be out of there by five or six am

Nice Video Bar
We went to Stiges on a Friday night around 1:30am. They charged a 50 peso cover and then it was open bar for the night. Inside there are lots of tables and chairs to sit and watch videos while drinking. It was cute. it was mostly gay men, but a fair number of lesbians as well. It's only 3 block from Amerika, so we started our night there and then walked over to Amerika.
Pre Dance Club Layover
A drag show club with a nice bar staff, plenty of seating for drag shows I rather forgo. I tend to go just to kill time instead of waiting until 1:00 AM for most clubs to open. Not an exciting place to meet people, mostly couples, tourists, or a group of pives (teenagers) being rumbustious, and obnoxious. A positive thing: the bar with a smoking section at the front. Being close to Amerika mega disco, the place is a pre-bar stopover. The best thing is I enjoy is striking a conversation with the security guy at front. He is straight, but quite intelligent at 32, he is sociable, with great manners; something to be appreciated in this city.
Good place to start, and meet foreigners
1) Good drinks 2) Opens early. 10pm ( NOTE: 10pm is VERY early in BA ) 3) Crowd is usually 30+ 4) Foreigners are there early 10pm to 12:30am 5) Music is not so loud so you can talk to others. 6) You must prove you bought the drink minimum to leave the bar. 7) Open most nights of the week.
Chill, friendly bar
Sitges has a great vibe. It heats up as it gets later, but for the most part you can find a seat to chat or take in the complex Argentine mating rituals. Sitges is the perfect place to start out the evening, or if it's a night with a drag show (and you understand Spanish), the perfect place to spend the whole evening. What I like best about this bar is that it's really friendly. You'll find Porteños mixing with foreigners, young and not so young. The bar tenders at Sitges actually have a good mind for customer service, which at crowded BA gay hot spots is huge! Conclusion: Chill, exciting, fills-up, diverse crowd, excellent to start the bar crawl
