A historic meeting point for artists and politicians, Cafe de los Angelitos opened in 1890 and has delighted audiences ever since. Come for the dinner, stay for the tango.
The Obligatory Tango Show
It seems that as a tourist in Buenos Aires, you must see a tango show. Yet everyone I know that has seen one is disappointed in them. Based on the recommendation of our travel agent, we went to Cafe de los Angelitos for the dinner and show combination. They even picked us up at our hotel. The food was ok. The show was good. I wasn't blown away by it, but there was some good dancing and singing. This was the only tango show we saw so I don't really have anything to compare it to.
